Skip waiting time on RapidShare, MegaUpload, etc With Skipscreen

There are many games availble for download on this site. but it is in divided into large fies. And to download every file you need to wait for 45 seconds. Hence total waiting time estimates upto one hour. But Skipscreen[a firefox addon] will help you in converting that one hour into Zero Seconds.

Although Rapidshare is the largest file hosting service, almost every file is hosted on it. But still there are some cases when we need to download from other file hosting sites. All those sites which provide free file hosting have annoying waiting time and other unnecessary pages. SkipScreen skips that annoying waiting time.

Wherever you need to click through ads or wait for countdowns, SkipScreen will be there to make your life easier. SkipScreen automatically clicks through the hoops to get to the content you want.

SkipScreen supports the following sites :

* Rapidshare.com
* zShare.net
* MediaFire.com
* Megaupload.com
* Sharebee.com
* Depositfiles.com
* Sendspace.com
* Divshare.com
* Linkbucks.com

If you want to see the demo, click here

Install SkipScreen

If you use IE or other browser then you can skip the waiting time on RapidShare by typing this when the time ccountdown has begun after you click on the free user button.

The trick to avoid waiting doesn't seem to work any more. It does stop the counter and show download icon. But when you click on that, it gives following message- "The download cannot be provided. Please check, if your browser supports Javascript."

Tried with firefox and IE, both with same results. Any solution?

You need to enable javascript in your browser.

Rohit, javascript is already enabled. When I execute "javascript:alert(c=X)" command in address bar, it does change the counter displayed to "X" seconds. However, when it expires, if I click on the download icon, it keeps giving previously mentioned error until original counter expires! Looks like this would have worked earlier, but they might have corrected their code to guard against wait removal tricks.

Are you sure it works for you even now?

This generally or mostly works only in INTERNET EXPLORER and not any other browser...
