How to compress pictures?

Following is an an very easy method to compress pictures & need no special software:-

1. Open the picture using windows picture viewer(or any other software)
2. After u r able to see the picture, press 'print screen' button on ur keyboard.
3. Open 'Microsoft Paint'
4. Press CTRL+V
5. Separate out the portion u need and paste it in a newly opened paint.
6. Save picture in .jpeg format.

Now u would be able to see the magic of 'paint'.
